Center for Opportunities and Diversity in Engineering (CODE) Program
The Center for Opportunities and Diversity in Engineering (CODE) is charge with promoting and facilitating diversity within The Henry Samueli School of Engineering. CODE works to achieve this goal by providing academic, professional and social support for our students. In addition, CODE strives to create a community where students feel comfortable discussing both the challenges and successes they experience while at UCI.
Some of the services provided by CODE include:
- Free one-on-one tutoring
- Freshman Orientation course
- Academic Success Workshops
- Corporate Speakers
- Professional Development Workshops
- Scholarships, Research and Employment opportunities
- Peer Mentoring Program
- Club support for FUSION, MAES, NSBE, SHPE, and SWE
- Opportunities to meet informally with faculty
