The Henry Samueli School of Engineering is dedicated to developing long-term relationships with industrial partners that benefit both industry and the School's faculty and students. There are many ways to become involved, from corporate affiliates programs and cooperative research, to philanthropic support and participation on the School's advisory boards. Please contact the Office of Development and External Relations if you are interested in developing a partnership with The Henry Samueli School of Engineering.
Advisory Boards and Affiliates Programs
The School's affiliates programs provide an avenue for the continuous flow of new information and access to an outstanding pool of engineering talent. Programs include:
- Biomedical Engineering Corporate Advisory Board
- Civil and Environmental Engineering Affiliates
- Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Industry Advisory Board
Groundbreaking research is the heart of the Samueli School. Industrial partners can sponsor an individual faculty member's research on a contractual or philanthropic basis, become involved in one of the school's many research centers, or license a technology developed on campus. The Office of Development and External Relations is happy to assist your company in making contact with the faculty and matching your interests with theirs.
Recruiting top undergraduate and graduate students, as well as top-flight faculty, requires a strong public/private partnership. Competition for the best students and faculty is fierce; scholarships, fellowships and other forms of philanthropic support enable the Samueli School to attract the "best and brightest" students.
