Specialist Series – BME /Tissue Engineering

Minimum annual salary range is $51,300 to $86,900. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and years of experience.

The UCI Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) in the Samueli School of Engineering is anticipating openings in the specialist series in the field of tissue engineering throughout the academic year 2023-24. These positions offer a stimulating array of research and training opportunities within the various laboratories in the department.

Seeking qualified candidates with experience in the following tissue engineering areas:

  • Musculoskeletal system
  • Cardiovascular engineering
  • Immunoengineering
  • Biomaterials
  • Neuroengineering
  • Urinary and gastrointestinal engineering
  • Spatial cell biology.

These positions require a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering or biology and experience in the focus research area(s) listed above.

This is an ongoing recruitment and positions are dependent upon availability of extramural funding. Initial appointments are short-term and renewal is based on job performance and availability of support.
