Research in Dr. Mohraz’s group focuses on both fundamental and applied questions related to the physics of colloidal dispersions, rheology of soft materials, and self-assembly in multiphase fluids. The applications of Dr. Mohraz’s research broadly include the design and bottom-up synthesis of novel microstructured materials and composites for health care, energy, and nanotechnology applications. For more about current projects in Dr. Mohraz’s group, please visit the Colloid Science Laboratory webpage at http://csl.eng.uci.edu
Dr. Mohraz’s teaching interests are in the areas of Transport Phenomena and Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics, Colloid and Interface Science, and Computational and Analytical Engineering Mathematics.
