Research:
Dr. Moshfeghi is interested in image processing and communication, computer-supported cooperative work, distributed systems, Internet computing and medical information systems.
Dr. Moshfeghi's current efforts are aimed at developing suitable techniques for communication of image and video data to and from battery operated wireless devices. His published projects concern large group collaboration systems, distributed and adaptive electronic medical systems, workflow investigations of medical conferences, Web-based systems for presentation of multimedia medical information, wavelet-based image processing, improved interpolation and image rendering algorithms for magnetic resonance angiography, image registration algorithms for multimodality medical images and improved ultrasound image reconstruction algorithms.
