Q. Can you waive the $60 application fee?  
  A. The university offers potential graduate students who are either U.S. citizens or permanent residents the opportunity to apply for an application fee waiver. All of the instructions are available on our website located at http://www.rgs.uci.edu/grad/prospective/fee_waivers.htm. Foreign applicants are not eligible for graduate application fee waivers.

Financial Aid for EECS Applicants

A limited amount of financial aid is available to EECS applicants.

There are 3 main sources of financial aid:

  1. Fellowships: A number of fellowships are available. If you check the box on the on-line application indicating interest in financial aid, then you will automatically be considered for a fellowship. No further request is needed.
