The successful candidate will contribute to a study of the effects of a wearable gaming system to the recovery of hand movement ability after stroke.

Dean Gregory Washington seeks a part-time Associate Project Scientist for an experimental research program developing funded research initiatives and setting up laboratory experiments related to smart systems, wearable technologies and internet of things technologies.

Assistant Project Scientist

$70,500 - $88,600 Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
 

The Department of Biomedical Engineering in the Henry Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Project Scientist in the Laboratory of Professor Michelle Digman. The initial appointment will be full-time for one year. Renewal of the appointment will be contingent upon the quality of performance and availability of funding. The aims of the current funded grant are intended to study how a subunit of botulinum neuro-toxin affects cells and tissue on a molecular level.

The Hochbaum Lab in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Irvine is seeking applications for an Assistant Specialist in the field of supramolecular protein self-assembly. Applicants should have experience in chemical biology, protein synthesis, and structural characterization of proteins and protein assemblies. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field of chemistry or engineering.
