The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) invites applications for a lecturer appointment.

The minimum requirement is a PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field, and three years of experience in industry or academia. Candidates must have a passion for engineering education and demonstrated ability to contribute to the success of students. The selected candidate will devote time to teaching, with substantial emphasis on project-based learning. Experience advising student organizations, and supervising teams of engineering students, is desirable.

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is among the largest programs at UCI. The Department enrolls approximately 970 undergraduate students along with 145 graduate students, and offers ABET-accredited BS, as well as MS and PhD, degree programs.

Salary:  Commensurate with experience
