Department of Biomedical Engineering - Postdoctoral Scholar Position
Salary: $35,500-$46,128
Starting Date: July 6, 2009

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral scholar employee within the Department of Biomedical Engineering in The Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. We seek a qualified candidate with experience in the creation of acoustically active drug-delivery microbubbles, amphiphilic two phase interfaces, microfabrication technologies for microfluidic devices, microfluidic design and simulation, and microfluidic pump technologies.
The initial appointment will be 12 to 24 months. Salary range will be based on level of experience. Renewal of the appointment will be contingent upon the availability of adequate funding and performance. The position requires a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, or a related engineering field. Good communication and writing skills are required.
