The Multiphase Heat Transfer
and Fluid Dynamics Group consists of Theoretical and
Computational researchers headed by Professor
R. H. Rangel in the Department of
Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at UCI. Its
members investigate the fluid dynamics and heat transfer
aspects of a variety of problems involving liquid-gas and
liquid-solid systems, including phase change (vaporization,
condensation, solidification) and combustion.
