The Laboratory for Fluorescence Dynamics is anticipating openings for a postdoctoral scholar, within the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine.

 

Requirements: Seeking qualified candidate to pursue specialized research to develop novel imaging techniques for the study of biological systems, specifically in analysis protein dynamics in cells. This position will be focused on the development of fluorescence methods and instrumentation techniques.

 

Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering: Postdoctoral Scholar

 

Postdoctoral Scholar positions are occasionally available throughout the year in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California, Irvine. These positions are under the sponsorship of the following faculty members:

S. Atluri: Continuum mechanics, computational mechanics, computer modeling and simulation, integrated product and process design, damage tolerance and structural integrity, failure prevention, computational microelectronics.

Postdoctoral Scholar – Molecular and Cell Biology

The Department of Biomedical Engineering in The Henry Samueli School of Engineering at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a postdoctoral scholar position in the laboratory of Professor Wendy Liu.  We seek qualified candidates with a background molecular and cell biology, but also a strong interest in working in an interdisciplinary environment.  Experience in innate immunology or adhesion biology, and/or development of cell-based high throughput assays are also desirable.
